Eliasan Consulting was founded in 2018 by Alyson Segawa. Prior to founding the company, Alyson managed a multimillion-dollar portfolio of international market development projects for a leading international affairs management consulting firm. Her business experience spans across 15 international markets in North America, Europe, Latin America, and Asia.
With extensive experience representing small to large client programming and global strategy, Alyson can pinpoint exactly what market development strategies and tactics you need to support your growth objectives. She is proud to have helped generate over $22 million in exports on behalf of clients.
Alyson holds a Master’s degree in International Business and Policy from Georgetown University and a Bachelor’s degree in International Studies and Spanish from Seattle University. She has been a guest speaker for the U.S. Agricultural Export Development Council, Trade Development Alliance of Greater Seattle, and Washington State Wine Commission. She also serves as a member of the U.S. National Small Business Association (NSBA) Leadership Council.
Solara has seventeen years of experience supporting the private and public sectors. Prior to joining Eliasan Consulting, LLC, she directed an extensive portfolio of policy and appropriations including agriculture, agricultural trade, business, and foreign affairs for senior membership of the U.S. House of Representatives. She also worked for top global management consulting firm Deloitte in federal consulting practice.
Solara holds a Master's degree in International Business and Policy from Georgetown University and a Bachelor's degree in Social Sciences from Lewis-Clark State College with an emphasis in Pacific Rim Studies. She also studied International Agriculture and Rural Development at Cornell University. Solara has a certificate in International Business Management from Georgetown University.
Solara grew up working on her family's fifth generation dryland grain and pulse crop farm in the Palouse Region in which the majority of crops produced are exported. She therefore has first-hand experience and a deep appreciation of the critical importance of strong export markets to the viability of American agriculture.
